StatSheet's Patriot Player of the Week for March 4th goes to Holden Greiner. Justin Goldsborough has won StatSheet's Patriot Freshman of the Week.
Greiner finished first in the Patriot in rebounding (8.5 per game). He also had 70% shooting, 17.5 points per game, and 4 assists per game. The Lehigh senior put these numbers up in victories versus Navy and Army.
Greiner posted 3 assists and 83% shooting in 26 minutes in a big 72-43 win against Navy. That was followed by a team-leading 24 point and 14 rebound performance in an 81-75 win against Army.
This is the first StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week award for Holden Greiner. However, he has been named a runner-up once and received multiple honorable mentions. The runner-up this week is senior Mike Muscala from Bucknell. Honorable mention goes to Army senior Ella Ellis.
StatSheet Patriot Freshman of the Week: Lehigh's Justin Goldsborough
Justin Goldsborough averaged 17 minutes of playing time starting both games for Lehigh. In the win over Navy, Goldsborough tallied 2 rebounds and 2 assists. In the win over Army, he added 11 points on 66% shooting.
This is a new honor for Justin Goldsborough, the first time he has won StatSheet Patriot Freshman of the Week. Kyle Wilson from Army gets runner-up. Honorable mention goes to Jesse Reed from American University. This now means Lehigh has won the StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week award 2 times this season.
